Foley, MN – Phillip Parrish, candidate for Governor of Minnesota in 2026, is proud to announce Heidi Wanty as his campaign manager. A retired teacher, devoted family woman, and experienced grassroots leader, Heidi brings a wealth of passion and expertise to the campaign.
Heidi resides in the rural community of Foley with her husband of 31 years, Richard. Together, they raised six daughters—now married with families of their own—and are blessed with 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Both Heidi and Richard dedicated their careers to education, a passion that continues to shape their commitment to family and community.
Guided by her deep faith in Jesus Christ, Heidi’s values center on service, integrity, and ensuring a thriving future for Minnesota families. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and fishing on Minnesota’s beautiful lakes—cherishing moments with her loved ones. “Family is everything to me,” Heidi says. “I want my children and grandchildren to grow up in a state where they can prosper without unnecessary burdens.”
Heidi’s leadership experience spans education, counseling, and direct selling with LifeWave, where she honed skills in team-building, strategy, and communication. “A successful campaign, like any great endeavor, requires vision, innovation, and a strong connection with the community,” she explains. “I’m excited to unite people and resources to craft a winning strategy for Phillip Parrish.”
With degrees in Christian counseling and crisis and trauma counseling, Heidi has spent her life uplifting others. As a proud patriot, she is committed to restoring Minnesota’s potential by building a safer state, promoting an education system that reflects community values, and supporting families in achieving financial stability.
