Phillip C. Parrish, Candidate for Minnesota Governor 2026, Calls for Federal Investigation into Voter Roll Inflation
Minneapolis, MN – Phillip C. Parrish, a retired U.S. Navy Intelligence analyst and candidate for Governor of Minnesota in 2026, today issued a memorandum to President Donald J. Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and FBI Director Kash Patel, urging immediate federal action to address systemic voter roll inflation in Minnesota. Parrish’s analysis reveals significant discrepancies in the state’s voter registration system, raising concerns about election integrity ahead of the 2026 cycle.
“Minnesota’s voter rolls are inflated with thousands of deceased, duplicate, and relocated voters, a problem worsened by outdated federal laws and state-level inaction,” said Parrish. “With 3.6 million registered voters against a voting-age population of 4.2 million, and cleanups delayed until after elections—like the 34,721 cancellations post-2020—the risk of ineligible votes is real. This isn’t speculation; it’s data-driven fact.”
Drawing from his experience as a whistleblower in Minnesota’s $250 million daycare fraud and his observations of the $250 million Feeding Our Future COVID fraud scheme, Parrish highlighted parallels in lax oversight and delayed accountability. “Same-day registration added over 150,000 voters in 2024 with no real-time verification, and automatic registration compounds the issue. These are the same vulnerabilities I’ve seen exploited before,” he noted.
Parrish calls for amending the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) to require real-time voter roll validation using federal databases, enforce pre-election cleanups, and penalize states for noncompliance. He has urged the Department of Justice and FBI to investigate Minnesota’s voter rolls under existing NVRA authority, offering his expertise to assist.
“As a counterterrorism expert and fraud exposer, I’ve seen what happens when systems lack integrity. Minnesota’s tight election margins—like 233,000 votes in 2020—demand trust, and that starts with clean voter rolls,” Parrish said. “The DFL’s resistance to proactive measures prioritizes access over accuracy, and it’s time for federal intervention.”
