As I campaign to be your Governor in 2026, I draw inspiration from the profound leadership principles in John 10, particularly verses 27-30, where Jesus, the good shepherd, declares: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” These verses embody the essence of true leadership—knowing and protecting those you serve, ensuring their security, and acting in unity with a higher purpose. My commitment to Minnesota is to lead with this same dedication, integrity, and unshakable resolve.
Like the good shepherd who knows his sheep by name, I will listen to you, the people of Minnesota, understanding your unique needs, dreams, and challenges. My administration will forge personal connections across our diverse communities, ensuring every Minnesotan—from our cities to our rural heartlands—feels heard and valued. I pledge to lead with transparency and authenticity, so you can trust my voice as one that calls you toward a shared vision of prosperity and justice.
John 10:27-30 emphasizes the shepherd’s promise of protection and eternal security, a vow that no one can snatch the sheep from his hand. As your Governor, I will fiercely protect your freedoms, your safety, and your opportunities. We will confront threats to our state head-on—cracking down on white-collar crime, money laundering, and the mislabeling of human trafficking as immigration. By streamlining government and eliminating wasteful bureaucracies, we will safeguard your tax dollars, ensuring they serve you effectively in rebuilding our infrastructure, strengthening education, and securing healthcare access. My 21 years as a U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and counterterrorism expert equip me to defend Minnesota with vigilance and courage, ensuring no challenge undermines our future.
The unity between Jesus and the Father in these verses reflects leadership anchored in a higher purpose. I will govern Minnesota with unwavering accountability to our state’s foundational principles—intellectual rigor, moral clarity, and ethical integrity. By empowering local communities, fostering innovation, and protecting the hardworking poor, we will create a Minnesota where every child can thrive, and no one is left behind. My experience as an educator and community volunteer drives my commitment to unite our state, not through division, but through a shared mission to uplift all.
