The Irony of Broken Crusaders: Narcissism Masquerading as Justice

Statement from Phillip C. Parrish, Candidate for Governor of Minnesota 2026

Dear Minnesotans,

Our society faces a profound challenge: the rise of intellectually and morally broken ideologies, often driven by narcissistic activism that masquerades as justice. Too many activists and academics, fueled by unresolved personal grievances, seek positions of authority not to serve but to dominate, perpetuating division and harm under the guise of progress. This mindset lowers standards, appeases destructive behaviors, and erodes the foundations of healthy families and communities. As your Governor, I will confront this crisis head-on and lead a cultural shift toward servant leadership, integrity, and accountability.

The irony of these broken crusaders is that their pursuit of “justice” often amplifies their own pain while harming others. Their agendas, rooted in intellectual and moral bankruptcy, prioritize power over principle, leaving our social and educational systems fractured. In Minnesota, we see this in bloated bureaucracies, failing schools, and policies that exploit our kindness while enabling fraud and crime. This must end.

To combat this challenge and restore Minnesota’s greatness, my administration will implement the following key strategies:

1. Reform Education for Excellence and Integrity: We will eliminate ideologically driven curricula like Common Core and replace them with programs that prioritize critical thinking, civic responsibility, and moral clarity. By empowering educators and reducing administrative bloat, we will refocus schools on building character and preparing students for meaningful lives, not perpetuating divisive narratives.

2. Promote Servant Leadership in Governance: Elected officials and bureaucrats must serve the public, not personal agendas. My administration will dismantle redundant agencies, cut wasteful regulations, and hold public servants accountable to the taxpayers. We will foster a culture where leadership inspires greatness, not division.

3. Expose and End Exploitative Ideologies: We will confront white-collar crime, money laundering, and policies that enable harm, such as those misrepresenting human trafficking as immigration. By exposing lies and protecting the innocent, we will rebuild trust in our institutions and safeguard our children.

4. Strengthen Community and Family Values: Personal and social issues are solved through relationships, not government overreach. We will support programs that encourage strong families, local engagement, and individual responsibility, rejecting centralized ideologies that breed dependency and division.

5. Restore Moral and Intellectual Standards: Minnesota will return to a mindset of aspiring to greatness. We will reject the lowering of standards and appeasement of inappropriate behaviors, promoting policies that uphold ethical principles and foster unity over segregation.

This cultural shift begins with us—together. It’s not about left or right; it’s about wrong and right. As Governor, I pledge to lead with faith, family, and freedom at the forefront, rebuilding Minnesota on sound principles. Let us inspire one another to greatness, protect our children, and create a future where integrity triumphs over ideology.

Sincerely,

Phillip C. Parrish
