Phillip C. Parrish: Exposing Senator Klobuchar’s Dishonesty and Vowing Ironclad Accountability for Minnesota’s Future

Fellow Minnesotans,

As Phillip C. Parrish—a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander with 21 years in intelligence and counter-terrorism, an educator, farmer, and whistleblower who exposed over $100 million in Minnesota daycare fraud—I am running for Governor in 2026 to restore integrity, combat waste, and prioritize Minnesotans. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s recent X post exemplifies the dishonesty eroding public trust: it misrepresents President Trump’s economic record by claiming “costs are up” without context (inflation remains low at 2.7% in June, below prior peaks); distorts the “One Big Beautiful Bill” as “rewarding” high-error states in SNAP (it’s a temporary exemption in a broader anti-waste measure cutting $300 billion); and falsely paints tax cuts as solely for billionaires (they benefit all brackets, boosting GDP by 1.1%). Her video inflates healthcare losses to 16 million (CBO says 10-10.5 million) and cherry-picks polls to attack Trump’s agenda.

This manipulation demands accountability. As Governor, I will:

• Establish a State Integrity Commission to monitor federal policies, investigate waste in programs like SNAP and Medicaid, and debunk misleading claims harming Minnesotans.

• Partner with the Attorney General for multi-state lawsuits against federal overreach or misinformation that leads to economic harm here at home; if the Attorney General refuses to cooperate, I will invoke my authority under Minnesota Statutes Section 8.06 to employ independent counsel when public interest requires it, seek legislative authorization for special prosecutors, and rally public and bipartisan legislative pressure to ensure Minnesota’s interests are protected in court.

• Use the governor’s bully pulpit for real-time fact-checks via town halls and transparency reports.

• Push state legislation for stricter audits of federal funds to minimize errors and prevent political exemptions.

• Advocate nationally for congressional ethics reforms, including term limits and disclosure rules.

Where senators or representatives—state or federal—show blatant dishonesty patterns, I will publicly call for voter-initiated recalls (per Minnesota law for state officials), urge resignation or expulsion (for federal), and rally Minnesotans to demand better.

Minnesotans deserve honest leadership, not partisan spin. Join me at parrish4mn.com to build a stronger Minnesota.

Sincerely,

Phillip C. Parrish
