Senator Amy Klobuchar’s Hypocrisy Exposed: Pharma Pockets, Lies, and a Betrayal of Minnesota Families

By Phillip C. Parrish, LCDR, USN (Ret.), Candidate for Governor of Minnesota 2026

Minnesota, we deserve better. As a retired Navy intelligence officer with 21 years of service fighting terrorism and upholding truth, I’ve dedicated my life to exposing corruption and protecting the vulnerable. Today, as your candidate for Governor in 2026, I’m calling out one of the most egregious examples of political deceit right here in our state: Senator Amy Klobuchar’s relentless defense of dangerous lies that put our children’s health at risk—all while her campaign coffers overflow with Big Pharma cash.

Let’s start with the facts. On September 7, 2025, Senator Klobuchar took to X (formerly Twitter) to launch a vicious attack on HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., posting: “RFK Jr.’s dangerous vaccine conspiracy theories are a threat to the health of American children. He should resign—or the President should fire him.” This wasn’t just a casual opinion; it was a calculated smear, quoting fellow Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock’s baseless claim that Secretary Kennedy is a “hazard to the health of the American people.” But here’s the truth Klobuchar desperately wants to bury: these aren’t “conspiracy theories”—they’re calls for transparency and investigation into skyrocketing chronic illnesses, including autism rates that have climbed from 1 in 36 to 1 in 31 children as of April 2025. Secretary Kennedy has pledged to probe environmental factors, including vaccines, with over 100 research proposals already submitted to HHS by September 2025. His work builds on re-examined studies, like the 1998 Lancet paper on MMR vaccines and autism, which has fueled ongoing debates in 2025.

Klobuchar’s post isn’t just wrong—it’s dishonest. She ignores Secretary Kennedy’s environmental legal victories and frames him solely as an “anti-vaxxer” to distract from the real crisis: an epidemic of chronic diseases devastating our kids. Why? Because the truth threatens her patrons. Campaign finance records show Klobuchar raked in $1,185,847 from the Pharmaceuticals/Health Products sector in her 2023-2024 election cycle alone, including PAC donations from groups like the Medical Device Manufacturers Association. That’s on top of $797,208 from the broader health sector. This isn’t public service; it’s a blatant conflict of interest. She’s not representing Minnesota families—she’s shilling for Big Pharma, suppressing inconvenient truths to protect the very industry bankrolling her career.

This isn’t new behavior for Klobuchar. She’s consistently echoed party-line attacks on anyone questioning vaccine safety narratives, aligning with tech and health establishment efforts to curb “misinformation” since 2021. Her hypocrisy shines through in her own record: while pushing bills to lower drug prices, she gladly accepts pharma money, which critics rightly call out as two-faced. And let’s not forget her opposition to the Trump administration’s policies, including Kennedy’s nomination, purely out of partisan spite. Minnesotans, ask yourselves: Why does she defend these lies so fiercely? Is it loyalty to science, or to her donors?

Klobuchar’s actions are a betrayal of everything we hold dear in Minnesota—honesty, hard work, and protecting our children. Her post overlooks Kennedy’s confirmation in February 2025 despite Democratic pushback and dismisses his efforts to restore trust in health agencies amid eroding public confidence. Instead of demanding real answers for rising autism and chronic illnesses, she’s fearmongering to shield an industry profiting from our pain. This is the same playbook we saw with other senators, like Maggie Hassan, whom I’ve called out for similar shameless lies—accusing Kennedy of restricting vaccines while pocketing over $365,000 from pharma in 2024. It’s a pattern: politicians trading integrity for cash, leaving families to suffer.

As Governor, I won’t stand for this. I’ve blown the whistle on daycare fraud in Minnesota, exposing waste and corruption that drained taxpayer dollars. I’ll bring that same fight to St. Paul: banning lobbyist influence in health policy decisions, demanding full transparency in campaign funding, and prioritizing investigations into environmental toxins affecting our kids. No more special interests dictating our future. We’ll fund elderly care without raising taxes, secure our borders, honor tribal sovereignty through real transparency, and challenge misleading language that divides us—like calling genuine health concerns “conspiracies” to silence debate.

Senator Klobuchar, your compromised position is crystal clear. Resign now, or face the voters who see through your deceit. Minnesotans deserve leaders who put people over profits, truth over lies. Together, we’ll break free from these societal chains with hope and truth.
