Update: DOJ Lawsuit Against Steve Simon Validates Our Warnings—It’s Time to Expose Minnesota’s Voter Roll Fraud and the Criminal Enterprise Behind It

Fellow Minnesotans,

Just weeks after my August 14 call to unite behind the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) push to clean up our state’s bloated voter rolls, the federal hammer has dropped. On September 25, 2025, the U.S. DOJ filed a lawsuit against Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon in federal court, demanding full access to our statewide voter registration database—including full names, dates of birth, addresses, driver’s license numbers, and the last four digits of Social Security numbers. This isn’t some vague privacy spat, as Simon’s office claims—citing state laws on voter data protection. No, this is a direct confrontation with a cover-up of systemic crimes: inflated voter rolls that distort elections, pad population counts to siphon federal dollars, and fuel a broader criminal enterprise that’s turned Minnesota into a haven for fraud.

As I detailed in my August article, Minnesota’s rolls are a ticking bomb—3.6 million registered voters against a voting-age population of just 4.2 million, riddled with unremoved deceased entries, duplicates, and post-election ghost additions (like the 1,130+ voters mysteriously tacked on after November 8, 2024). Simple cross-checks against publicly available data expose the farce: Census figures show our total population at around 5.7 million, yet voter turnout math implies impossible rates—like the 100.88% “participation” in 2024 when you factor in the 275,000+ registration drop post-Election Day. These aren’t clerical errors; they’re engineered inflations to game federal funding formulas tied to population metrics. Think billions in Medicaid, education grants, and welfare programs—dished out based on “headcounts” that include non-citizens, duplicates, and the long-departed. It’s the same playbook as the $250 million daycare scam I blew the whistle on or the $1 billion Feeding Our Future COVID fraud: lax oversight, bureaucratic complicity, and elite protection rackets that bleed taxpayers dry.

This lawsuit ties directly into the fraud scandals I’ve been calling out since launching my 2026 gubernatorial campaign. Remember the District 40B House race in January 2025, where DFL cheating with ineligible candidate Curtis Johnson nearly stole a Republican majority? Or the ActBlue money-laundering schemes distorting donor influence? Fast-forward to June 2025: I demanded Simon and Gov. Tim Walz explain Chinese Communist Party ties via Konnech software—storing our voter data on foreign servers—amid cases like the Nevada duo charged for submitting hundreds of fake Minnesota registrations. And don’t forget the July 2025 guilty pleas from a couple who flooded the system with bogus forms. These aren’t isolated; they’re symptoms of a state-run criminal enterprise where unverified rolls enable non-citizen voting, multi-state balloting, and dead-voter resurrections—echoing my March 16 memorandum to President Trump urging NVRA enforcement.

Simon and the DFL machine’s resistance? Pure deflection. They’ve stonewalled DOJ since July, mirroring suits against Oregon and Maine, all under the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) that mandates accurate rolls. Privacy my foot—it’s about shielding the grift. Inflated rolls don’t just rig elections (like our razor-thin 2020 margins); they unlock federal cash flows, propping up a shadow network of bureaucrats, NGOs, and operatives who’ve surged our foreign-born population 20% in a decade to “boost” the numbers. Grassroots warriors like @LibertyMarieEP have mapped this for years: no automatic roll updates, opaque machines like ES&S DS200, and same-day registration loopholes since the 1970s that scream exploitation.

This DOJ action is the breakthrough we need before 2026. It validates every warning—from my April pledge for real-time audits to my July judicial reform plan to neuter court-enabled fraud. As Governor, I’ll enforce Trump’s Executive Order 14,248 on citizenship proof, roll out the SAVE Act’s verification mandates, and purge the rolls with federal backing. But we can’t wait for courtrooms; the fraud stops when we act.

Your Next Steps—Amplify the Pressure:

Call Out the Cover-Up: Email Simon at steve.simon@state.mn.us and Walz at gov.walz@state.mn.us demanding immediate DOJ compliance. CC your legislators via leg.state.mn.us.

Demand Audits: Flood county election offices (find yours at sos.state.mn.us) with requests for cross-checks against Census and SSA death records.

Spread the Word: Share this update and my August article on X, Facebook—tag @MNSteveSimon, @GovTimWalz, and @keithellison. Join patriots like @LibertyMarieEP in the fight.

Vote Integrity in 2026: Back candidates committed to transparency, not the enterprise.

Minnesota’s not a fraud factory—we’re the North Star State. Let’s reclaim it. Contact me at parrish4mn.com or @phillipcparrish to join the coalition.
