Minnesota’s Death Spiral Just Got an Official Autopsy – And the Killers Have Names
By Phillip C. Parrish, Republican Candidate for Governor 2026
Yesterday the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce finally said the quiet part out loud: our state is dying in slow motion.
+1.0% real GDP per capita growth since 2019 – 38th in the nation.
+0.2% workforce growth – 40th.
Net loss of 47,900 working-age Americans – 41st.
They dressed it up in polite PowerPoint orange, but the translation is brutal:
Minnesota is now a place you escape from, not move to.
The people leaving are the ones who pay taxes.
The people arriving can’t spell GDP, and the DFL machine is perfectly fine with that math.
Give the Chamber credit – they had the guts to publish the corpse photo.
Give Alpha News, Power Line, and a handful of radio guys credit for screaming about it.
But autopsies don’t resurrect the dead. And talk is what got us here.
So let’s stop talking.
When I’m sworn in January 2027, here’s what happens in the first 100 days. No studies. No task forces. No “stakeholder engagement.” Just action:
1. Full forensic audit of every dollar stolen since 2020
Feeding Our Future ($250M+), front-line worker “bonuses” ($500M), COVID slush funds, daycare fraud rings – all of it.
Every nonprofit, every LLC, every DFL-connected “community organization” gets subpoenaed. Bank records, phone records, metadata, shell-company filings.
We follow the money until it leads to campaign donor lists, because it always does.
2. RICO the racketeers
The daycare fraud wasn’t “waste, fraud, and abuse.” It was a criminal enterprise operating with political cover.
We will use Minnesota’s own RICO statute (609.902-.904) to seize every house, car, and bank account bought with stolen taxpayer money.
If you took $100k in fake meal reimbursements and bought a Lake Minnetonka cabin, the forfeiture crew is coming. I’ll hand the gavel to the auctioneer myself.
3. Immediate 15% across-the-board cut in state income and business taxes
Paid for by the seized fraud proceeds and by zeroing out every DEI contract, every “climate equity” grant, and every NGO that can’t pass a financial stress test.
We don’t need another study to tell us high taxes chase producers away. We’re reversing the flow – day one.
4. One-year moratorium on all new occupational licensing and all new environmental permitting rules
You want to open a barbershop or build a warehouse? You get an answer in 30 days or the permit is auto-approved.
The bureaucracy that strangled growth gets put on a crash diet.
5. Voter ID + signature verification + same-day registration banned
Because nothing says “we’re serious about stopping fraud” like actually stopping fraud.
The same people who can’t secure a feeding program somehow want you to trust them with your ballot. Hard pass.
6. Sheriff-first immigration enforcement
Any illegal alien convicted of a felony gets turned over to ICE the same day. No sanctuary. No excuses.
We’re done importing poverty to offset the taxpayers who fled to Texas and Florida.
The DFL will scream. The Star Tribune will call me every name in their stylebook. The nonprofit grifters will cry “racism” while they pack their bags for Illinois.
Good. Let them run. There’s a new sheriff coming to St. Paul, and the free-ride gravy train is on fire.
Minnesota used to build things – iron ore, computers, medical devices, farmers who fed the world.
Now we build waiting lists and excuses.
I’m not asking for another blue-ribbon panel.
I’m not asking for permission.
I’m telling you exactly what’s going to happen when you send a Navy Intelligence officer and fraud whistleblower to the governor’s office with a Republican legislature that’s finally had enough.
The autopsy is over.
The resurrection starts now.
See you at the polls – and then see you at the seizures.
