An Open Letter to Minnesotans: Protecting Your Trust in a Time of Coercion
January 2, 2026
Fellow Minnesotans,
Today, the Minnesota Republican Party leadership issued a final ultimatum to candidates: Sign the data agreements, pledge in writing to abide by the party endorsement—no matter what—and regain access to party voter lists. Refuse, and lose it all by midnight tonight.
My answer remains the same as it was on December 14: No.
I am running as a proud Republican to defeat the radical left, reclaim our state, and dismantle the criminal networks that have looted Minnesota for far too long. But I will not do it by selling out the trust of the thousands of you who have stood with me for eight years.
Here’s what happened, plainly:
• On November 18, 2025, I sent leadership a good-faith letter raising serious legal risks in their data agreements—unilateral rule changes, unlimited liability dumped on candidates, weaponized penalties, and privacy concerns.
• After weeks of silence, their attorney told me no real changes would be made.
• Hours later, the State Central Committee slammed through a last-minute resolution cutting data access for anyone unwilling to pledge blind loyalty to the endorsement. No notice. No discussion. Just coercion.
• Now, on January 2, they’re enforcing the cutoff and demanding written pledges by January 5.
They proved my warnings right in real time.
I do not need their lists. Our campaign is powered by something far stronger: the authentic grassroots network we built together—Freedom Talk with Phil, over 15,000 miles traveled across Minnesota, more than 100 meetings since last April, and direct relationships with real voters who want truth, not insider games.
What I will never do is hand over your private contact information—without your explicit consent—to a financially desperate central apparatus that demands reciprocal sharing while shielding its own failures.
Your trust is sacred. You supported a Navy intelligence officer who blew the whistle on daycare fraud, election scams, and COVID relief theft. You deserve a candidate who protects you, not one who trades your privacy for access to outdated, compromised data.
I salute the hardworking Republican volunteers in every corner of this state—you are the heart of this party. But the evidence of systemic rot at the leadership level is overwhelming: chronic financial desperation, hypocritical rule enforcement, and now outright coercion to control the candidate field.
We can do better. We must do better.
Mark your calendars: Republican precinct caucuses are Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
Show up. Speak up. Elect delegates who will demand real reform and hold leadership accountable. Locations will be available on the Secretary of State’s Caucus Finder starting January 14 at sos.mn.gov.
This fight isn’t over—it’s just beginning. Together, guided by faith in my Savior Jesus Christ and an unbreakable commitment to Minnesota families, we will expose the rot, clean house, and win in November.
Thank you for standing with me. Let’s take our state back—clean.
In service,
Phillip C. Parrish
