Urgent Imperative: Advancing Impeachment Proceedings Against Governor Tim Walz for Systemic Fraud and Corruption
By Phillip C. Parrish, Candidate for Governor of Minnesota 2026
January 18, 2026 – St, Paul, Minnesota
In the face of unprecedented fraud that has drained billions from Minnesota’s taxpayers, a resolute group of Republican legislators, led by Rep. Mike Wiener (R-Long Prairie), has drafted and publicly released four articles of impeachment against Governor Tim Walz. This action, announced on January 12, 2026, targets Walz’s egregious failures in stewardship, concealment of criminal activities, and prioritization of political self-preservation over the faithful execution of his oath of office. As a lifelong Minnesotan, retired U.S. Navy intelligence officer, and whistleblower on related scams including daycare fraud and election-integrity breaches, I unequivocally support this effort. It is not merely justified—it is essential to restoring integrity to our constitutional republic and dismantling the entrenched networks of corruption that have looted our state.
The scale of the fraud is staggering: Federal prosecutors have described it as involving upwards of $9 billion stolen through state-administered programs, including child nutrition initiatives like Feeding Our Future, daycare and Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) schemes, autism services, housing stabilization grants, and Medicaid waivers. These are not isolated incidents but a coordinated racketeering operation involving political insiders, nonprofit grifters, corporate enablers, and street-level operatives. Warnings from auditors, whistleblowers, and investigators date back to 2018, yet under Walz’s watch, red flags were ignored, probes obstructed, and safeguards bypassed—allowing the syndicate to flourish while hardworking Minnesotans footed the bill.
The articles of impeachment, crafted with assistance from the Minnesota House Research Department and co-sponsored by Reps. Pam Altendorf, Ben Davis, Krista Knudsen, Drew Roach, and at least 10 other Republicans, lay out the charges with precision:
1. Violation of Oath of Office: Walz knowingly concealed or permitted the concealment of widespread fraud, breaching his sworn duty to uphold the Minnesota Constitution and protect public trust.
2. Interference with Oversight: He obstructed lawful investigations, audits, and corrective measures, shielding the perpetrators from accountability.
3. Prioritizing Politics Over Lawful Governance: Walz placed partisan loyalties and narrative control above the impartial administration of justice, enabling the criminal networks to persist.
4. Failure to Steward Public Funds: By neglecting to implement or enforce necessary protections, he allowed billions in taxpayer dollars to be siphoned off, inflicting irreparable harm on our state’s fiscal health and vulnerable populations.
These charges are substantiated by a mountain of evidence: Hundreds of federal indictments, frozen funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, intensified FBI and DHS investigations, and congressional subpoenas demanding Walz’s testimony. Walz’s abrupt announcement on January 12, 2026, that he will not seek a third term—amid escalating scrutiny—does little to absolve him; it underscores the urgency of formal accountability. Our constitutional republic demands that no executive, regardless of party, operate above the law. As Scripture reminds us, “Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (Amos 5:24)—a divine call to confront theft and deceit without compromise.
To the members of the DFL machine: Your fiduciary responsibilities as elected officials are clear and non-negotiable. Under Article VI of the Minnesota Constitution, you are bound to faithfully discharge your duties, including the oversight of executive misconduct. Ignoring or dismissing these impeachment articles would not only betray the public trust but also make you complicit in the ongoing cover-up of a syndicate that has rigged programs for personal and political gain. The voters of Minnesota—farmers, families, and faith communities alike—will not tolerate enablers who prioritize party loyalty over justice. Step up, fulfill your oath, and support a full investigation, or face the electoral consequences of aiding and abetting this criminal enterprise.
A stern warning to my fellow Republicans: Reports of hesitation or unwillingness to pursue this impeachment aggressively will not be overlooked or given a pass. With the House set to reconvene on February 17, 2026, now is the moment to unite behind Rep. Wiener’s resolution. A simple majority can advance these articles to the Senate, where a two-thirds vote could secure conviction and removal. Wavering in the face of such blatant corruption erodes the very principles of our republic—limited government, accountability, and the rule of law. Those who falter will be remembered as obstacles to reform, and the grassroots movement for transparency, including whistleblowers like myself, will ensure your records reflect it come election time. This is not optional; it is a moral and constitutional imperative.
Minnesotans, the power to demand change lies with you. Sign Rep. Wiener’s petition immediately at https://mikewienerforhouse.com/ to amplify this call and push for floor consideration. Contact your legislators—DFL and Republican alike—and insist they prioritize justice over politics. Together, we can expose the rot, recover what was stolen, and rebuild a state where integrity, not insider deals, guides governance.
As a father, farmer, and follower of Christ, I am committed to this fight. Let us honor our Creator by stewarding our republic with unwavering resolve.
