Ayrlahn Johnson hit me with the latest from pension warrior Edward Siedle, and it’s pure dynamite. If you’ve been following my fight against the looting of this state, you already know I wrote about this exact racket back in October: “Pensions in Peril.” I laid it out plain—how Tim Walz, Keith Ellison, and their hand-picked cronies on the State Board of Investment (SBI) have been gambling with teachers’ and public servants’ retirements while hiding the real costs from the people footing the bill.
Well, the syndicate just proved me right—again. And they did it without a single press conference, without a peep from the Legislative Auditor, and without one ounce of shame.
In 2023, SBI disclosed a laughable $83 million in investment management fees. After Siedle’s 2024 forensic takedown exposed decades of wild underreporting, they quietly “fixed” it in their 2024 report: $345 million. By 2025? They dropped the mask entirely—$670 million in total disclosed fees. That’s an 800%+ jump in two years. Public markets, private markets, and now—for the first time ever—hundreds of millions in “profit sharing” funneled straight to Wall Street insiders.
This wasn’t an accounting “oops.” This was a calculated, multi-year lie by the very officials legally required to protect your pension money. They knew the numbers were impossible. They knew full disclosure would torch their cozy Wall Street gravy train. So they slow-dripped the truth to avoid an uproar. Classic DFL crime syndicate playbook: rig the game, loot the pot, and hope the marks (that’s you—teachers, state employees, farmers, taxpayers) never notice until it’s too late.
Teachers, this one lands square on your shoulders. You’ve been paying record contributions—7.5% rising to 8%—while the fund that’s supposed to secure your golden years gets bled dry by hidden fees and fantasy return assumptions. State employees, firefighters, police—you’re in the same boat. Rural families and farmers watching your property taxes climb to backfill these shortfalls? You’re the collateral damage in their racketeering operation.
And the rest of Minnesota? This is your constitutional republic being turned into a slush fund for connected grifters. The same networks I’ve blown the whistle on—daycare fraud, COVID “relief” theft, election integrity scams—are running the same con here. Opaque books. No real accountability. Insiders get rich. You get the bill and a pat on the head about “investing for the future.”
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it louder: This isn’t negligence. It’s organized extraction. Walz chairs the board. Ellison sits on it. They had a legal duty to monitor every dime. Instead, they presided over a decades-long con that only got exposed because retired teachers crowdfunded a real forensic audit. The response from the machine? Crickets, followed by these pathetic “quiet adjustments” to make the numbers look less criminal.
Enough is enough.
Here’s the truth the DFL doesn’t want you repeating at the dinner table, the teachers’ lounge, or the church coffee hour: Your retirement isn’t safe under their watch. The promises they keep expanding—lower retirement ages, bigger benefits—while the books stay cooked? Those are vote-buying IOUs that will come due on the backs of your kids and grandkids through higher taxes or slashed services.
But here’s the vision worth fighting for—a Minnesota we can all see, feel, and build together:
A state where teachers and public servants retire with dignity because the pension funds are run like the sacred trusts they’re supposed to be—not piggy banks for Wall Street and political donors.
A constitutional republic where every dollar is accounted for in plain English, net of every fee, with independent forensic audits as standard operating procedure.
A place where farmers, families, and working Minnesotans keep more of what they earn because we stop feeding the beast and start protecting the innocent.
Where faith drives us to defend the vulnerable, punish the wicked, and steward what God has given us with integrity—no more quiet skyrocket thefts on the people who built this state.
That Minnesota is possible. But it won’t happen if we sit back and let the syndicate keep operating in the shadows.
This is where you come in. Every single one of you.
Start talking about this. Right now.
• Teachers: Bring it up in your union meetings, staff lounges, and parent-teacher nights. Demand your locals stop carrying water for the DFL machine and start demanding real audits.
• State employees and retirees: Share this with your colleagues and pension groups. Your futures are on the line—make noise.
• Farmers and taxpayers: This hits your bottom line. Talk about it at co-ops, church, and town halls.
• Families of faith: This is stewardship and justice. Jesus flipped tables over far less. We protect the widow, the orphan, and the hardworking servant—not the grifters.

We’ve exposed the daycare fraud networks. We’ve called out the COVID theft. We’re fighting for election integrity. Now we finish the job on the pensions.
