Observations from the Campaign Trail: The Silent Majority Is Awake and Ready

By Phillip C. Parrish, Candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota on the Lindell-Parrish Ticket

On the campaign trail across Minnesota, the picture is crystal clear if you open your eyes and cut through the noise. The vast majority of our fellow Minnesotans are good, decent people who love their families, their farms, their faith, and this constitutional republic. They want honest leadership that puts producers first—not the parasite class of grifters, looters, and racketeers bleeding the state dry.

At the Republican Party of Minnesota gatherings, the energy from most attendees was positive and respectful. People expressed real care and concern for the direction of our state. Sure, there was a small handful of obvious political operatives—some laser-focused on their guy, others flashing fake smiles while their eyes dripped disdain, and a few who reeked of overt and covert ill intent. But they were the tiny minority. The good people outnumbered them overwhelmingly.

The same pattern held at recent parades. Out of thousands of folks lining the streets, only three or four tried to bait us into negative, unhealthy exchanges. The rest? Respectful, open to real conversation, and hungry for straight talk about fixing what the syndicate has broken. Farmers, veterans, working families—they’re done with the lies.

Social media tells the same story. Interactions with our message are overwhelmingly positive. The toxic, inappropriate, and often deranged attacks come from a very small, predictable crew hiding behind pseudonyms, stolen avatars, and outright fake profiles. These are the same clowns who dominate the online conversation by default because too many good people have been conditioned to stay quiet.

That’s the core observation: Far too many solid Minnesotans have swallowed the propaganda that certain areas are permanent “strongholds” for the other side, that all hope is lost, so why bother showing up? This is self-manifesting defeat. The reality is that a tiny, unhealthy, often ill-intended group has hijacked the microphone with lies, coercion, and exploitation. They’ve convinced the decent majority that their power is smaller than it actually is.

The DFL machine and its nonprofit-corporate-street-level partners thrive on this illusion. They rig systems, loot taxpayer dollars through endless fraud schemes, and protect their networks while everyday Minnesotans pay the price in higher costs, broken schools, unsafe communities, and farms under pressure. But the spell breaks when people see the truth on the ground: the good guys are the overwhelming majority.

Our job on this Lindell-Parrish ticket is simple—help that majority shatter the illusion. Expose the corruption. Dismantle the racketeering networks. Audit the waste, prosecute the fraud, seize the assets, and return power to the people who actually build this state. We’re not interested in managed decline or polite surrender. We’re here to reclaim Minnesota for the farmers, the veterans, the working families, and the faithful who know that Jesus calls us to stand for truth and protect the vulnerable.

This isn’t about left versus right games. It’s about restoring a constitutional republic where honest work is rewarded, families are strengthened, and criminal enterprises in government, nonprofits, and elsewhere get dragged into the light.

To every Minnesotan who’s been sitting on the sidelines thinking your voice won’t matter: It does. The tiny minority only wins when the decent majority stays home or stays silent. Show up. Speak truth. Vote like your children’s future depends on it—because it does.

The campaign trail has reinforced what I already knew from my time in the Navy chasing terrorists and their financiers, from turning around a struggling Catholic church and school through honest stewardship, and from years exposing fraud in this state: The producers far outnumber the parasites. With faith, perseverance, and raw determination, we will take Minnesota back.

Christ is King. Minnesota will rise again—stronger, freer, and rooted in truth.
