PHILLIP C. PARRISH INTELLIGENCE CELL  ·  OPERATION SHADOW HUNT

A citizen roadmap for documenting legacy-media half-truths and trying them in the court of public opinion. Public brief, October 8, 2026.

Issued on behalf of Phillip C. Parrish, producer and host of Freedom Talk with Phil, and Operation Shadow Hunt. This is not a court filing. The courthouse door is shut on editorial bias, and pretending otherwise wastes the fight. The court that is open is the one Minnesotans already sit in: the court of public opinion. It works only if citizens build a record the stations cannot shrug off.

What KSTP did on October 8

KSTP graded a 15-second Restore Sanity PAC ad a C-minus for saying Amy Klobuchar worked to keep cash moving to Somalia, and that fraud money later flowed overseas. The same newsroom, the same day, gave a DFL ad attacking Lisa Demuth a B. Their own scale is plain. An A is near-complete accuracy. A B is mostly accurate with minor issues. A C is inaccurate or exaggerated information that misleads and gives the viewer no context. They used the C to sand the edges off the senator who helped keep the pipes open, then went silent while the theft ran.

Their write-up concedes the core fact. In 2015, after banks stopped processing remittances to Somalia under pressure over money laundering, Klobuchar sent letters to the Obama administration demanding a way to keep the transfers moving. Republican members signed some of those letters. That does not erase her role. She was not a bystander. She lobbied to restore the flow. In her own words from that period, Somali-Americans in Minnesota were a vital financial lifeline, and she would keep fighting for a way to send the money. Years later she was still on camera promising to reduce redundant rules on remittances to Somalia and telling that audience she would continue to fight for them.

Feeding Our Future came later. That is KSTP’s escape hatch, and it is a small one. The ad compresses a timeline. It does not invent the lobbying. From the FBI raids in January 2022 through the end of 2025, Klobuchar’s Senate office issued more than 1,000 press releases. Reviews of that archive found no release on Feeding Our Future, Minnesota fraud, Medicaid fraud, autism fraud, Housing Stabilization Services, child nutrition fraud, or nonprofit fraud. She found her voice for other scams. On the largest theft of taxpayer dollars in this state, the releases were empty. She is now running for governor on a day-one audit. The silence was the record. The audit is the campaign.

The money did move. Defendants bought cars, houses, and overseas property. Indictments list wires out of the country, including transfers toward Kenya. One Feeding Our Future figure, charged in the original case, was taken into custody in Mogadishu in 2026. Former acting U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson said the charged defendants had not been shown to be funding terrorist groups. Print that. Also print that the proceeds still left Minnesota, and that the senator who fought to keep those channels open did not spend one of those thousand releases on the scandal.

KSTP leans on “no evidence she acted to enable fraudsters” and on a disputed terror citation. Enabling is not a signed confession. Enabling is keeping the remittance pipes open after regulators flagged them, growing the programs and the bureaucracy that paid the claims, requesting earmarks for Somali-led nonprofits that later drew scrutiny, and saying nothing in the official record while prosecutors described the theft. Some of those earmark requests were pulled or never paid. Pulling a request after the whistle is not the same as never making it.

The charge in the court that is open

We are not asking a judge to jail a newsroom for a grade. We are putting the grade, the scale, and the buried record in front of the people who still pay for the licenses, the ads, and the attention. A newsroom that calls documented lobbying plus a thousand silent releases a false impression, and calls a DFL ad mostly accurate on the same day, is not testing truth. It is managing damage for the machine.

Minnesota is not a feeding trough for nonprofits, consultants, and cash pipelines. It is a constitutional republic of farmers, tradesmen, parish families, and veterans who still expect a dollar collected for a hungry child to feed a hungry child. The kids who were supposed to be fed were the alibi. The cars, the villas, and the wires were the business. Truth-telling is not optional for a people who answer to Christ the King. Protecting the vulnerable means naming the theft and the polish put on it.

Citizen roadmap: build the file

Operation Shadow Hunt is asking every Minnesotan who is done with the free pass to start a personal media file. One story. One station. One entry. Do not rant. Document. The power is in the pile, not the temper.

What to capture, every time

  • Outlet, program, reporter, date, and exact time. Save the URL.
  • A screen recording or photo of the segment, post, or article before it is edited. Archive the page the same day.
  • The exact sentence that is false, half-true, or stripped of context. Quote it. Do not paraphrase the charge.
  • The record they left out: the letter, the indictment, the press release that does not exist, the same-day grade they gave the other side.
  • Who is helped by the framing. Name the candidate, the nonprofit, the agency, or the narrative.

How to log it

  1. Give the entry a number and a one-line title. Example: SH-001, KSTP C-minus on Klobuchar remittance ad, October 8, 2026.
  2. Paste the quote. Under it, paste the omitted fact with the source link.
  3. Mark it: false, half-true, or propaganda-by-omission. Half-true is the one they hide behind. Treat it as the main target.
  4. Note the courtesy: what grade, headline, or adjective the same outlet gave the other side in the same cycle.
  5. Save it where you can find it. A shared folder, a simple spreadsheet, a notebook. Consistency beats software.

How the public prosecution works

This is the sequence. Skip a step and they will call it a vibe. Run the sequence and they have to answer a file.

  1. Open with their words, not yours. Quote the grade, the headline, or the sentence.
  2. Set their own standard next to it. KSTP published the scale. Use it.
  3. Lay the omitted record under the quote. Letters, release counts, indictments, arrest dates, same-day grades. One fact per line.
  4. Send a short correction demand to the news director and the reporter. Ask for the specific omission to be added. Do not threaten a lawsuit. Do not call them criminals in the demand. The demand is the exhibit.
  5. Publish the entry the same day: the quote, the omission, the ask. Tag the outlet. Invite others to file the same entry number so the pile is visible.
  6. Track the reply, the edit, or the silence. Silence after a sourced correction demand is part of the record. Screenshot it.
  7. Withdraw attention on purpose. Say which outlet you stopped watching and why, with the entry number attached. Money and ratings are the only levers they still feel.

Rules of the file, so it cannot be dismissed as a mob:

  • No invented quotes. If you cannot paste it, you do not have it.
  • No guilt by last name. Tie the claim to the act, the vote, the letter, the release, or the omission.
  • Separate what is proved from what is alleged. Thompson’s statement on terror financing stays in the file. So does the overseas movement of the money.
  • Pray before you publish if you are angry. Anger without a record is noise. A record offered in truth is a witness.

First entry, already started

SH-001. KSTP Truth Test, October 8, 2026. Anti-Klobuchar remittance ad graded C-minus. DFL ad attacking Demuth graded B the same day. Omitted weight: 2015 lobbying they concede; more than 1,000 Senate releases from 2022 through 2025 with no mention of the Minnesota social-services theft; documented overseas movement of fraud proceeds; a Feeding Our Future defendant taken into custody in Mogadishu in 2026. Courtesy grade. File is open.

Send further entries, airchecks, and links to the cell. We will stack them. The free pass ends when the pile is too large to grade away.
