Dear Republicans of Minnesota,
Since December of 2020, Jennifer Carnahan used me twice to attack and discredit people. Why would she do this? When that was unsuccessful, Jennifer claimed a colleague disclosed confidential information to disrupt that candidate’s run for a congressional district office. In the same timeframe, Jennifer denied a state party chair candidate access to the delegate lists for almost 3 weeks after the candidate announced their run for state party chair.
On 25 February 2021, Jennifer called a county BPOU chair alleging she had received multiple complaints. Jennifer stated one of the complaints included a screenshot of an email between the chair and I that made racist statements about Jennifer. However, this supposed evidence was conveniently not disclosed. The allegation is false and intentional defamation of character.
Discrepancies have appeared in the list of newly elected state central delegates and alternates. These inconsistencies could negatively impact one candidate over another. Jennifer’s defense is to screenshot emails that do not disclose the content of the attached files. This does not explain the incomplete and inaccurate Excel files emailed to candidates seeking state party office.
In addition, who is running Republican virtual conventions throughout the state of Minnesota and how they are run has come into question. With the Republican party chair contested, Jennifer Carnahan or an assigned proxy running any BPOU, CD, or SD convention, is a political conflict of interest. In addition, the Google forms voting process has a key flaw. The form cannot assure voting anonymity as it requires a valid email address visible to the proctor. This further leads to ethical questions regarding Jennifer’s foreknowledge of who does or does not support her.
Will the candidates to key contested party offices get fair treatment? Will they have a fair shot? Election integrity starts with simple and powerful connections to accuracy, transparency, and truth.
