On November 19, 2025, Christopher Rufo and R. Kendall Thorpe detonated a bomb in City Journal: “Minnesota Welfare Fraud: Some Funds Went to Al-Shabaab.” Federal indictments, DHS shutdowns, ex-FBI testimony—proof that billions stolen from our welfare programs didn’t just buy Lambos and lake homes; they armed terrorists in Somalia. The article is devastating, airtight, and late.
But it’s not new.
It’s simply the first time the corporate gatekeepers let the truth breathe in public without smearing the messenger as a bigot.
I know, because I was screaming this exact warning in 2016–2017 while still on active duty with special forces and DHS. Same hawala trails from Minneapolis to Mogadishu. Same ghost daycares, fake enrollments, and money vanishing into the night. I flagged it to brass. They buried it. Then they came for me—death threats, SPLC hit pieces (January 16, 2018, still online), YouTube channel nuked in 2020, Freedom Talk throttled into oblivion on every platform that mattered.
They thought if they silenced the messengers early, the message would die.
