Fellow Minnesotans,
The leaks keep coming, and they confirm what many have suspected for years: the Minnesota Republican Party’s delegate selection process—at every level—is riddled with manipulation designed to maintain insider control and sideline true reformers.
The issue, as is typical, arises one step past the precinct caucuses—at the county (or BPOU) level—where party insiders further tighten their grip on the outcome of the state convention. Precinct caucuses are where newcomers show up excited, full of hope, ready to participate in what they believe is a genuine grassroots process. They vote, they speak, they feel the energy of real change. Then comes the county convention step, and suddenly most of those new faces are excluded, sidelined, or simply disappear from the delegate pool.
Why? Because the insiders play a game called “developing a slate.” They pre-curate lists of preferred delegates—hand-picked names to vote for, others to quietly avoid—then distribute those slates through private texts, group chats, or back-channel networks right before or during the county gathering. A recent example from Mille Lacs County shows exactly this: a ready-made slate pushed out with instructions that voters “do not have to vote for all,” framed as coordinated support from a select group of “supporters.”
This isn’t about building the party. It’s about controlling it. By stacking county conventions with organized blocs—often loyalists, family networks, or donor-aligned names—establishment players lock in delegates who will carry their agenda to the state level. Newcomers, who came in fresh and idealistic, quickly realize the deck is stacked. They don’t understand the “game,” they see the exclusion, they feel the dirtiness of it—and they walk away disgusted. They think, “What a joke,” and many never come back. That disgust is justified. It is a dirty game, fueled by those who intend to use it for a controlled outcome rather than an open contest.
Developing slates at the county level is a significant part of the problem because it turns the chain of representation—precinct → county → state—into a filter that removes the very people who could bring real accountability. It creates an illusion of broad support while quietly purging independent voices and reformers unwilling to play along with the syndicate’s agenda. The result? Delegates who protect the status quo instead of exposing the criminal networks looting Minnesota—daycare fraud schemes, COVID relief theft, election irregularities, and billions taken from hardworking taxpayers.
This county-level rigging feeds directly into the statewide deception I’ve exposed:
• Coercive data ultimatums and blind loyalty pledges (January 2 open letter).
• Paywalls and doomed convention processes that price out families and reformers (February 6 “Faithful Path Forward”).
• The false narrative of uniting behind convention picks, when insiders undermine them if they lose control (February 25 “Unity Behind the Primary Winner”).
The same players who scream for “unity” behind endorsements are the ones developing slates to lock in influence early, then sabotaging or crying foul when the primary doesn’t bend to their will. It’s hypocrisy on steroids—dividing good Republicans, breeding cynicism, depressing turnout, and handing advantages to the DFL syndicate and its enablers.
To every Minnesotan—especially the newcomers—who has sent messages of disgust with this behavior: You are not alone. Far from it. The frustration you’re feeling is widespread—shared by thousands across every senate district, every house district, every county in the state. There are far more of us—honest, faithful, fed-up Minnesotans—who see through the rigging than there are people still willing to play along with it. The silent majority is waking up, and your voices are the proof.
While the other candidates are fighting for a party label in a rigged game, Team Parrish—and soon to be the Parrish administration—are fighting for you. I’m a Republican because we are a constitutional republic. This isn’t about left vs right or us against them. This is about right vs wrong and putting Minnesotans first!
The solution isn’t more insider games—it’s rejecting these tactics entirely, focusing on the primary as the true expression of the people’s will in our constitutional republic, and honoring the primary winner above all. No more resources wasted on division; full focus on dismantling the syndicate, restoring integrity, and delivering real results for families, farmers, veterans, and every hardworking Minnesotan.
Join the growing movement. Share these exposures, attend your events with eyes wide open, and come to Truth Reckoning Sundays for unfiltered discussion—no fees, no scripts, just truth.
Guided by faith in Jesus Christ, we can break free from these manipulative chains. Let’s root out the corruption, enforce real accountability, and build a Minnesota where families thrive in freedom, safety, dignity, and honest leadership—not insider slates and backroom deals.
The light of truth exposes every hidden thing. Let’s keep shining it until the game is over.
In Christ alone,
Phillip C. Parrish
